The neighbourhood is filled with trees, parks, biking paths, and walking trails. Bridlewood-Emerald Meadows boasts lots of recreational opportunities available to its residents. The neighbourhood also boasts two community centres and an impressive nine outdoor rinks in the winter. The community association organizes March Break Movie Night, Spring Sports program, True Sport Play Day, Big Bridlewood Garage Sale, Volunteer and Member Appreciation BBQ, Family Bike Chase, Holiday Decorating contest and December Social each year.
Future Development
There are some exciting updates coming to the neighbourhood over the next couple of years as Monahan Landing is being developed. New parks, more recreational opportunities, a tennis court, and a new splash pad are all part of future plans for the community. Plans to improve traffic flows into and out of the city involve road widening and intersection improvements to Hope Side Road, Richmond Road and Hunt Club Road. Finally, there are several new business and retail development opportunities in the progress that will bring more jobs and shopping into the community.

Bridlewood is a great place to live, work and play and a wonderful location to raise a family. We have 7 elementary schools within our boundaries from all local school boards. Bridlewood is close to a variety of shops and recreational facilities. We have a very active community association to represent residents, help them find solutions to issues and to bring them together in a number of social or sporting events.
